Boat Tour in Tam Coc

  • Time: 1.5 hour
  • Itinerary: Boat wharf > Hang Ca > Hang Hai > Hang Ba

The highlight of any visit to Tam Coc is undoubtedly the boat tour. This leisurely journey takes visitors along the Ngo Dong River, weaving through lush rice paddies and beneath towering limestone cliffs. The boat tours are operated by local rowers, predominantly women, who skillfully navigate the waters using their feet to paddle—a unique and fascinating sight.

Each boat can accommodate up to four passengers, and the tour lasts about two hours. As you glide along the river, you will pass through three natural caves, known as Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. These caves, formed by centuries of water erosion, are a testament to nature’s artistry.
